Our amazing tour includes visiting art studios, watching demos, meeting the diverse artists, and artisans of the area in addition to enjoying scenic farms, forests & the Rideau River. All of this is just a 30-minutes drive south of downtown Ottawa.

Our first stop is at Cormier Pottery where you can find functional and decorative high-fired stoneware and porcelain. The place is amazing and the atmosphere there is natural. You can also buy any item you like and the place accepts Credit Cards.
Luzia Christine Bollinger creates one-of-a-kind fused glass, that is both functional and decorative. Each piece is fused and slumped in a kiln. Items range from tableware to jewelry, located at our second stop.
Tour Stop 3 is about photography. At Classis Picture Framing, you can get picture framing, matting, shadow boxes, glass replacement. After that, you can enjoy digital art and nature photography at Kalm Connections. Also, the stop includes watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media at Andrea Otway. And, finally, you can enjoy fine art wildlife and nature photographs at Hon Hugh Craig Photography, which is the only one of them that accepts credit cards.
The 4th stop includes two fantastic things. The first is My Front Porch with terrariums, aeriums, succulent dish gardens, and living art pieces. The second is at Eleanor Sangster’s place where you can enjoy and buy watercolor paintings and notecards.
The Rideau Branch - the City of Ottawa Archives is one of the best resources if you want to research the history of Rideau Township. It was built in 1876on the former Township Hall of North Gower. The collection includes material from Ottawa’s southern rural part.
You can check the collection. However, it is not a lending library.
Primrose Path Studio and Garden is our tour’s 6th stop. It is a place filled with fine art, whimsical birdhouses, birdfeeders, and textile creations. Credit card accepted so you can but whatever you like there.
Goose Landing Studio is one of the most unique soapstone/wood carving studios. The place is relaxing and most people find it interesting. Also, Copper Designs is included in this stop. It is where you can find copper sheet metal art.
One of our biggest stops is the 8th stop. First, we visit Simply Devine Paverpol. This place offers unique four-season fabric and textile sculptures and accepts credit cards. After that, Laverna G. Quinn where you can enjoy watercolor, oil, ink, and mixed media.
The third-place we visit during this stop is Carmichael Woodworks where you can find Handcrafted carved bears, each with its own unique personality, that start with a chainsaw and are enhanced with finer carving tools.
The fourth stop is Horses at Liberty/ Liberty Shots. The place accepts credit cards and is full of photography, photographic prints, digital art.
After that, we visit Shawn Donaldson. It is a place selling mixed media and abstract art. Then, we head to Moonstones. Jewelry lovers find this place interesting since they can buy semi-precious gemstone and sterling silver jewelry. The place accepts credit cards.
The last place we visit during this stop is Barb Ward, which sells fur bears, pillows, and quilted goods and accepts credit cards.
